Crepe Paper Chinese Lantern

Instructor:  Rachel James
Date:  Saturday, September 15
Time:  12:30-5:30 p.m.
Cost:  $25
Students will create Chines lanterns and oak leaf boughs using crepe paper.  Using example specimens and a range of fine doublette crepe, you'll learn how to create a botanically accurate Chinese lantern.  Rachel will also help you learn how to use papers other than crepe to achieve soft, lightweight effects in your floral works.  Over the course of this class, you'll craft enough Chines lantern blooms and oak leafs to creat a bough suitable for gracing a mantel, or to make a keepsake floral crown.  You will be provided the instructions and supplies to do both!
